保鲜柜是一种用于存储各种需要冷冻的食品专业储藏工具，使食物或其他物品保持冷态的小柜或小室，内有制冰机用以结冰的柜或箱带有制冷装置的储藏箱。而保鲜柜也主要用于冷藏、保鲜食品等，在食品行业以及家庭中都有很大的用处。但对于专门用来冷冻保鲜食品的保鲜柜，在清洁与保养上又有什么要注意的呢?
1、要注意避免保鲜柜产生异味，如果产生异味，应及时去除异味。保鲜柜产生异味主要来自冷藏室，冷冻室除霜化冻时有时也会产生异味。而对冷藏室发出的异味，可直接放入除味剂或电子除臭器等消除，也可以停机对冷藏室进行彻底清洗。而要去除冷冻室中的异味，首先要切断电源，打开箱门，除霜并清洗干净后，再用除味剂或电子除臭器清除。如果没有除味剂等，还可将保鲜柜的内胆及附件擦洗干净后，放入半杯白酒(最好是碘酒)，再关上保鲜柜的箱门，不通电源，放置24小时后，既可将异味消除了。
2、保鲜柜应该安放在远离热源，不受阳光直射的地方，因为保鲜柜在工作时需要与外界进行热交换，既通过冷凝器向外界散热，如果外界环境温度越高，保鲜柜的散热也会越慢，会使电冰箱和保鲜柜工作时间越长，增大耗电量，制冷效果也会更加差，相对的对保鲜柜也会有损坏。
3、保鲜柜在搬运时应注意移动的角度。首先，在移动时不能将其放在地上拖，其次，箱体最大倾斜角不能超过45度,更不能倒置或横放，否则会损坏压缩机或使压缩机中的冷冻油流入制冷管路，影响制冷，而且容易造成压缩机脱簧。
清洁保鲜柜注意事项：
1、应不定期用软毛刷清除冷凝器及压缩机上的灰尘，杂物，以保持良好的散热环境，达到较好的制冷效果。
2、用软棉布沾些少量无腐性洗涤剂的温水溶液擦洗保鲜柜内外外表，清洁后用干布擦干，切不可用有机溶剂，洗衣粉等对保鲜柜有害的物质进行清洁。
3、要经常用温水擦洗密封条，使密封条保持弹性，以延长其寿命。
4、保鲜柜上请勿放置较热的物体，以免变形。
